As part of the Global Entrepreneurship Events Participation Call, 50 Turkish technology startups qualified to participate in CES 2024, the world’s largest consumer electronics fair, and will showcase our domestic technologies in Las Vegas.
At the fair, attended by over 1,200 technology companies from more than 150 countries, Turkish entrepreneurs will exhibit their innovative products for the first time, ranging from a smart cane for visually impaired children and a local initiative converting coffee waste into bio-raw materials to an electric vehicle performance management platform and wearable technologies.
From January 9-12, 2024, in Las Vegas, USA, the CES 2024 Turkey Pavilion will be established for Turkish technology entrepreneurs at CES 2024 (Consumer Electronic Show), the world’s largest consumer electronics fair.
The joint participation of Turkish technology startups in CES, Web Summit, Slush, and Web Summit Qatar, some of the world’s most important entrepreneurship events, is being realized for the first time this year with the collaboration of five Development Agencies coordinated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Development Agency (BEBKA), Ankara Development Agency (ANKARAKA), İzmir Development Agency (İZKA), Istanbul Development Agency (İSTKA), and West Mediterranean Development Agency (BAKA) are taking over 100 Turkish technology startups aiming to enter global markets to global events held in Las Vegas, Lisbon, Helsinki, and Doha.
As part of the Global Entrepreneurship Events Participation Call, a 150-person CES 2024 Turkey Delegation consisting of 50 Turkish technology startups qualified to participate in the CES Fair and stakeholders and representatives are heading to Las Vegas.
At CES 2024, Turkish startups will showcase their innovative technology products for the first time, ranging from a smart cane for visually impaired children and a local initiative converting coffee waste into bio-raw materials to the world’s first electric children’s bicycle and the world’s first and only conditional fan support platform, as well as wearable technologies, industrial design, digital logistics, unmanned aerial vehicles, fast delivery solutions for e-commerce, mobile games, educational technologies, electronics, and automation solutions.
For four days, Turkish startups will have the opportunity to promote their products and technologies and hold customer meetings. Turkish Airlines is also providing discounted tickets to Turkish technology entrepreneurs as part of a sponsorship agreement.
This year, the CES Fair will feature startups from around the world representing various technology categories, including artificial intelligence, smart cities, cryptocurrency and NFTs, food technology, digital health, augmented and virtual reality, robotics and drones, space technology, gaming and esports, vehicle technology, and more.
The Global Entrepreneurship Events Participation Call offers entrepreneurs opportunities on the international stage. It provides a platform not only for targeting the American market but also for entrepreneurs looking to showcase their products in Europe and the MENA region. As part of the call, 23 Turkish technology startups participated in Web Summit, the world’s largest technology conference held in Lisbon, Portugal, from November 13-16, 2023, showcasing their products and meeting investors. Additionally, 18 Turkish technology startups participated in the Slush event held in Helsinki, Finland, from November 30 to December 1, 2023, competing with international startups and meeting with venture capital funds.
Turkish technology entrepreneurs will also participate in Web Summit Qatar, held for the first time in Doha, Qatar, from February 26-29, 2024.
