The “Women Employment in Industry Program,” developed by BEBKA in cooperation with İŞKUR Bursa and Nilüfer Organized Industrial Zone Directorate (NOSAB) to meet the industrial sector’s need for trained human resources, to train qualified personnel through education, and to increase employment by increasing the number of skilled workers, has completed its quality control operator training.
Certificates were presented to the trainees who successfully completed the training at a ceremony held at the BEBKA Service Building. The ceremony was attended by BEBKA Acting Secretary-General Sabri Bayram, NOSAB Director Mehmet Koçer, İŞKUR Bursa Provincial Director Feyzullah Eren Türkmen, and company representatives.
In his speech at the ceremony, BEBKA Acting Secretary-General Sabri Bayram stated that the training was provided by the Borçelik Technical Academy. Providing information about the training received by the trainees over two weeks, Sabri Bayram said, “The Ministry of Industry and Technology Development Agencies General Directorate declared 2024 as the Year of Women’s Employment and Women’s Entrepreneurship. In line with this theme, we have developed programs with our stakeholders. The first module of these programs, the ‘Women Employment in Industry Program,’ which is the ‘Quality Control Operator’ training, has been completed. Our trainees received intensive training for two weeks on occupational health and safety, environmental protection and quality measures, introduction to quality, professional technical drawing, manufacturing knowledge, recognizing measuring instruments, determining quality control stages and quality control activities, protective and instructed maintenance of working tools and equipment, and recording and reporting quality control results.”
Following the opening speech, the certificate ceremony commenced. Success certificates were awarded to the trainees who completed the training. After the certificate ceremony, a career meeting was held, bringing together the trainees and industrialists.
