Under the coordination of BEBKA, the Metaverse Academy Project—carried out within the scope of the European Union’s Erasmus+ Programme—aims to address the skills required in AR/VR/XR technologies, which are becoming a driving force in reshaping education in the digital age, and to foster innovation among students worldwide.
As part of the project, the 2nd Consortium Meeting was held on April 3–4, 2025, in Castellón, Spain, hosted by Universitat Jaume I (UJI), marking a significant milestone in the project’s progress.
The meeting brought together representatives from 13 partner institutions across 9 different countries. During the two-day event, participants reviewed the activities carried out so far and exchanged ideas on the upcoming steps of the project.
The agenda of the meeting included the following key topics:

A review of the project activities conducted since its official launch on February 1, 2024,

Outputs of surveys and interviews conducted with industry representatives and students,

Country reports prepared with contributions from all project partners,

Digital course content developed for the MOOC platform,

Planning of the Train-the-Trainers activities (both online and in-person),
-
Dissemination and visibility strategies for the project,
-
Upcoming project outputs, milestones, risks, and reporting processes.
At the conclusion of the highly productive meeting, decisions were made to strengthen inter-institutional collaboration. It was underlined that project activities will continue in line with the agreed timeline and objectives.
