(SOGEP) – Anadoludakiler Call for Proposal

The Ministry of Industry and Technology has started to call for a project proposal for the Anadoludakiler program, which will be carried out throughout the country in 2024.

The Purpose of the Program

The aim of the SOGEP Program is to eliminate the social problems arising from poverty, migration and urbanization by mobilizing local dynamics in the provinces where the program is implemented, to respond to the needs of the changing social structure, to ensure that the disadvantaged segments of the society participate more actively in economic and social life, to increase employability, to support social inclusion, social entrepreneurship and innovation and to promote social responsibility practices. With the “Anadoludakiler” brand, the richness of our lands is shared on the digital platform and it is aimed to support local producers, to keep the traditional culture alive and to discover local potentials.

Priority Areas

It is a prerequisite that the projects to be prepared are related to at least one of the following priorities, to be with a budget of minimum 1 million TRY and the minimum amount of the project budget for non-profit organizations for non-profits and 50% for the profit-oriented organizations.

Priority 1: Increasing Employability

Priority 2: Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Priority 3: Social Increment

Priority 4: Social Responsibility

Profit-oriented organizations can only offer projects as applicant within the scope of Priority 4. In other priorities, they can only be participants.

Criteria for Projects to be Supported under the “Anadoludakiler” Brand within the scope of SOGEP

Within the scope of the Social Development Support Program, the following elements are expected to be included in the projects that can be supported under the “Anadoludakiler”:

  1. Survival of a Local Value, Product or Production Form
  • Protection and survival of local cultural and geographical values in the project
  • Protecting local products and production techniques and transferring them to future generations
  1. Respectful Production Criteria
  • Using environmentally friendly methods in the project (clean energy, waste management, etc.)
  • Compliance with respectful production criteria
  • Promoting sustainable agricultural practices
  1. Creating Trade Volume While Keeping Tradition Alive
  • Protection and survival of local tradition and cultural heritage in the project, and the protection of traditional production techniques; improving and increasing the trade volume
  • Access to digital markets
  1. Cultural Heritage Meets Technology
  • Preserving traditional production methods and increasing efficiency by integrating modern technology
  • Bringing together traditional production with innovative design and technologies
  • Remembering traditional and local knowledge to keep the cultural heritage of Anatolia alive, bringing it together with the new generation through technology and keeping it alive

5.Social Entrepreneurship

  • Supporting social entrepreneurship for local products and creating economic value for clean production, access to local business and healthy products
  • Food safety and durability
  • Urban and rural food systems (local food system)
  • Reduce food waste (circular food)
  • Social gastronomy
  • New generation of farmers

6.Development Oriented Tourism Model

Providing learning by doing and experimentation opportunities to experience local culture and products in creative and original ways, and encouraging on-site experiences of stories.

Appropriate Applicants

Eligible applicants are public institutions and organizations that are non-profit or have a certain level of public interest such as universities, professional organizations with the status of public institutions, unions, cooperatives, non-governmental organizations, organized industrial zones, industrial sites, free zone operators, technology transfer office companies and management companies of organizations such as technology development zones, industrial zones and business development centers. Profit-oriented organizations can be applicants for social responsibility projects and can only be participants in other projects.

Projects and Project Components that will not be supported

  • Projects for basic social work delivery that do not have an innovative quality,
  • Project items that include overseas trips, overseas seminars, conferences, training, etc.,
  • Social assistance and projects with elements of the nature of cash transfer,
  • Tutoring projects with the aim of reinforcing school courses and course projects aimed to prepare for exams,
  • Projects that are not associated with the project objectives and focus on educational activities with poor sustainability,
  • Projects that include services already routinely provided by another institution,
  • Projects that do not establish a connection between the target audience and their activities,
  • Projects limited to social research, analysis and reporting activities on the detection of social problems and solving these problems.

Application Process

Within the scope of the program, stakeholders are expected to prepare the information form, activity plan and budget of their projects related to the “SOGEP – Anadoludakiler” program and share these documents with the Agency. The information form, activity plan and budget should be sent to sogep@bebka.org.tr by e-mail until 19.07.2024 (Friday). The appropriate projects will be taken to the final application stage and after this point, the project development works will be carried out directly under the coordination of our Agency.
