After the seminar, an extremely productive process will start in our region for both our entrepreneurs and investors.’
FUND MANAGERS WILL BE HOSTED
Mustafa Kopuk, Managing Partner of DOMiNO Ventures, said ‘I congratulate BEBKA for realising such a training seminar. In the 9-week seminars, valuable information about Startup investing will be shared by hosting very valuable investors and fund managers. At the end of the programme, many issues will be evaluated and information will be shared in different options such as what the participants should pay attention to in Startup investing, which issues should be paid more attention while investing, angel investing, fund investing, investing as a group to become a Startup investor.’
‘RISK AND COURAGE ARE VERY IMPORTANT’
Serkan Ünsal, founder of Startups.Watch, one of the seminar speakers, said, ‘The years 2010-2017 were the years when the firsts were made in the startup ecosystem as a country, but after 2017, we entered a much more experienced period. The increase in experience provides a big plus for things to go well. It is very important for investors to know the mechanics of this business and the sharing of experienced people.’ Ahmet Argun, Founder & Managing Partner of Lima Ventures, said, ‘The dynamics of the corporate world and the dynamics of startups do not match. The startup world consists of people who are creative and have the ability to sense opportunities. In this way, projects emerge. This process turns into a process that provides benefit and contribution. The ability to take risks is also of great importance in this process. Courage is a must in the startup world.’
