As part of the Global Entrepreneurship Events Participation Call, 24 Turkish technology startups qualified to participate in Web Summit, the world’s largest technology event, are showcasing their future-shaping products in Lisbon.
This year, for the first time, Turkish technology startups are participating jointly in Web Summit, Slush, CES, and Web Summit Qatar through the collaboration of five development agencies coordinated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
With the collaboration of Istanbul Development Agency (İSTKA), Ankara Development Agency (ANKARAKA), West Mediterranean Development Agency (BAKA), Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Development Agency (BEBKA), and İzmir Development Agency (İZKA), over 100 Turkish technology startups aiming to enter global markets are being taken to global events held in Lisbon, Helsinki, Las Vegas, and Doha.
As part of the Global Entrepreneurship Events Participation Call, Turkish technology startups that qualified to participate in Web Summit 2023, held in Lisbon, Portugal, from November 13-16, 2023, are now facing investors.
The event brings together over 70,000 participants from more than 160 countries, over 900 investors, more than 2,600 startups, 800 speakers, and over 2,000 media representatives. Among the 24 Turkish technology startups present are Bursa-based OXODES Bilişim Teknoloji A.Ş. and TOURIST Mobil Yazılım A.Ş.
Turkish entrepreneurs, offered free stand opportunities, have started to showcase their technology products in various fields, including artificial intelligence, robotics, renewable energy, digital health, gaming technologies, automotive industry, 3D printing technologies, software, cosmetic technologies, and logistics.
During the four-day Web Summit 2023, Turkish technology startups will have the opportunity to meet foreign investors, connect with future business partners, and acquire potential customers.

Successful entrepreneurs from the Global Entrepreneurship Events Participation Call will also participate in the Slush event in Helsinki, Finland, from November 30 to December 1, 2023; the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, USA, from January 9-12, 2024; and the Web Summit Qatar in Doha, Qatar, from February 26-29, 2024. Different levels of support will be provided to startups for each event.
