Slush, one of the world’s most prestigious entrepreneurship events, is hosting tech startups supported by BEBKA. 18 distinguished startups have the opportunity to showcase their technological and innovative projects in Helsinki.
This event, held in collaboration with five development agencies coordinated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, is supported by Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Development Agency (BEBKA), Istanbul Development Agency (İSTKA), Ankara Development Agency (ANKARAKA), West Mediterranean Development Agency (BAKA), and İzmir Development Agency (İZKA). Over 100 Turkish tech startups aiming to enter global markets in 2023 will have the opportunity to participate in global events held in Helsinki, Las Vegas, and Doha. 18 of our tech startups are participating in the Slush 2023 event held in Helsinki.
5,000 Entrepreneurs Meet with 3,000 Investors
As part of the Slush 2023 event, which will end on December 1 in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, Turkish entrepreneurs will present their pioneering technologies in various fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics, environment and climate, digital health, sports, gaming technologies, software, education, and finance. In this event, where more than 20,000 meetings will take place and over 300 events will be held, 5,000 entrepreneurs, 3,000 investors, and 300 media representatives come together. Turkish tech startups, offered free entry, will have the chance to meet with foreign investors, potential business partners, and future customers. Slush 2023 provides Turkish tech startups with international visibility and represents the Turkish tech ecosystem on a global scale.

Emphasizing the international success of Turkish tech startups, BEBKA Acting Secretary-General Sabri Bayram stated that Slush 2023 will contribute to Turkey’s tech ecosystem: “Slush 2023, one of the world’s most prestigious entrepreneurship events, is a great opportunity for Turkish tech startups to make a mark on the international stage. As BEBKA, we are proud to bring the technological potential of our entrepreneurs to the world. Opening Doors To New Fairs
Entrepreneurs who succeeded in the ‘Global Entrepreneurship Events Participation Call’ will participate in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world’s largest consumer electronics technology event, to be held in Las Vegas, USA, from January 9-12, 2024, following the Slush 2023 event. They will then attend the Web Summit Qatar, held for the first time in Doha, Qatar, from February 26-29, 2024. Startups will be provided with different scopes of support for each event.
