Hosted by the Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Development Agency (BEBKA) and coordinated by the in4startups digital platform, the “How to Become a Startup Investor?” program was successfully completed in Bursa. This special event, held on Wednesday, April 24, provided a valuable meeting point for entrepreneurs and investors.
Throughout the program, participants were provided with information on startup investments, and the investment processes were thoroughly examined using real-life examples. Many experts in the field shared their successful past investments and discussed how relationships between investors and entrepreneurs should be established and maintained.
The program began with an opening speech by BEBKA Planning Unit Head, Elif Boz Ulutaş. The support and programs provided by BEBKA to the entrepreneurship and investment ecosystem, under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, were discussed. Following this, Ahmet Sefa Bir, co-founder of in4startups, explained the innovative services offered. Şerafettin Özsoy, Managing Partner of Asya Ventures, also gave a seminar on “How to Become a Startup Investor?”. The program concluded with a panel discussing the investment acquisition processes of the successful Bursa-based startup CoolREG from entrepreneurial, investor, and legal perspectives. The panel included Mehmet Bülent Kula, founder of the CoolREG initiative; Emre Tonkuş, advisory board member of Asya Ventures and angel investor; and Attorney Çiğdem G. Okkaoğlu, partner at Günay Erdoğan Law Firm.
The networking opportunities provided by the program allowed participants to interact with like-minded professionals and potential investors. The event contributed to strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Bursa and surrounding provinces and raised awareness among individual investors interested in startup investing.
