Operating under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Development Agency (BEBKA) is bringing Türkiye’s most innovative technology startups to one of the world’s leading entrepreneurship events, Slush 2025. At this year’s event in Helsinki, 32 tech entrepreneurs supported by BEBKA met with global investors and showcased their technologies on an international stage.
A Global Push from Türkiye’s Development Agencies
Implemented under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, and in collaboration with BEBKA, Ankara Development Agency (ANKARAKA), Western Mediterranean Development Agency (BAKA), Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA) and Izmir Development Agency (IZKA), the “Call for Participation in Global Entrepreneurship Events” is carrying Türkiye’s tech entrepreneurship ecosystem to the world.
Through this program, more than 100 Turkish tech startups will have the opportunity to meet investors in global hubs such as Lisbon, Helsinki, Las Vegas, and Doha throughout 2025–2026.
“Turkish Startups Are Playing a More Active Role Globally”
Mustafa Caner Meydan, Deputy Director General of Development Agencies at the Ministry of Industry and Technology, highlighted the international vision brought to Türkiye’s entrepreneurship ecosystem:
“Türkiye’s technology startups are now recognized not only for their national achievements but also for their global impact. Events like Slush—one of the world’s leading entrepreneurship platforms—allow our entrepreneurs to meet investors and strategic partners. Our development agencies are opening regional potential to global markets and making Türkiye’s technology production capacity visible on the international stage. These startups are building Türkiye’s innovative and competitive future.”
Slush 2025: 13,000 Participants, 3,300 Investors, 300 Events
Held on 19–20 November 2025 in Helsinki, Finland, Slush brings together more than 13,000 participants, 6,000 startups, 3,500 investors and 300 media representatives this year. Turkish startups working in fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics, environmental technologies, gaming, biotechnology, finance, and energy are presenting their innovative solutions to global investors.
The event offers strategic opportunities for entrepreneurs in terms of global market access, investor connections, and international branding.
A Full Program for the BEBKA Delegation
On the first day of the event, the Turkish delegation coordinated by BEBKA held meetings with representatives from the Embassy of Türkiye in Helsinki, the German Trade & Invest Agency, the Italian Trade Agency, and other international stakeholders. A meeting with Slush Partnership Director Ida Sinisalo explored how Türkiye’s participation could be expanded and strategically strengthened in the coming years.
On the second day, at the TechVisa Side Event organized by the Ministry of Industry and Technology’s General Directorate of National Technology, participants were informed about the Türkiye Tech Visa Program—offering entrepreneurs and their families fast-track work and residence permits, access to technoparks and incubation centers, tax incentives, and advisory services. In addition, Türkiye’s rising “unicorn” candidates supported under the Turcorn 100 Program—Fizix, Navlungo, Colendi, Enqura, Bottobo and Macellan—shared their success stories.
