Craftsmen, producers, academicians, and entrepreneurs from three provinces participated in the ‘Anadoludakiker Exhibition and Promotion Program,’ implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Technology Development Agencies General Directorate and led by the Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Development Agency (BEBKA).
The ‘ Anadoludakiker Exhibition and Promotion Program,’ held at the Atatürk Cultural Center in Istanbul, was attended by Emine Erdoğan, the wife of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister of Industry and Technology M. Fatih Kacır, General Director of Development Agencies Ahmet Şimşek, Bilecik Governor and also BEBKA Board of Directors Chairman Şefik Aygöl, along with invitees from 81 provinces.
Craftsmen, producers, entrepreneurs, and academicians from the three provinces led by BEBKA participated in the promotion meeting of the Anadoludakiler project, which supports the preservation of cultural heritage through traditional methods, sustainable production, the revival of the local economy, and development.
After the promotion meeting, BEBKA Acting Secretary-General Sabri Bayram evaluated the project’s purpose and goals. He said, “The project implemented by our Ministry is crucial for rediscovering the values of Anatolia with the themes of abundance, accumulation, and skill and making local products visible with strong content and stories. The project will make significant contributions to supporting our local producers, preserving our traditional culture, and discovering local potentials by sharing the richness of our lands on digital platforms. We provided broad participation in the promotion meeting held under the auspices of the wife of our President, Emine Erdoğan, with the craftsmen, producers, entrepreneurs, and academicians invited from the three provinces in our agency’s area of responsibility. Additionally, at the ‘Anadoludakiler Exhibition,’ we presented region-specific products supported by our agency, such as Bursa Silk, İznik Tiles, Bilecik Cloth, and Lefke Cloth, to the participants’ appreciation.”
Applications for SOGEP-Anadoludakiler Have Begun
Sabri Bayram drew attention to the start of the Social Development Support Program (SOGEP) – Anatolians Project Proposal Call, which will be implemented nationwide in 2024 by the Ministry of Industry and Technology. He said, “Applications for our SOGEP-Anadoludakiler program, where we will support projects that will add value to the abundance, accumulation, and skills of Anatolia from Bursa, Eskişehir, and Bilecik, have officially begun. The program aims to mobilize local dynamics to address social issues arising from poverty, migration, and urbanization, respond to the needs created by the changing social structure, ensure the more active participation of disadvantaged groups in economic and social life, increase employability, support social inclusion, social entrepreneurship, and innovation, and disseminate social responsibility practices. With the Anadoludakiler brand, the goal is to support local producers by sharing the richness of our lands on digital platforms, preserve traditional culture, and discover local potentials. Detailed information about the program can be found on our agency’s website. Those who want to rediscover the abundance of Anatolian soil, the accumulation of culinary culture, and the skill of their hands can visit anadoludakiler.org.”
The project, launched by the Ministry of Industry and Technology with the motto ‘Abundance, Accumulation, and Skill in Anatolia,’ will be carried out through Development Agencies and Regional Development Administrations under the auspices of the wife of our President, Emine Erdoğan.
